Tuca & Bertie Revived by Adult Swim

Adult Swim has revived Netflix's one-and-done animated comedy Tuca & Bertie. The series was posted on Netflix on May 3, 2019, and was canceled by the streamer in July of the same year. The cancellation drew an outcry from fans and across social media, with many banding together to try and get Netflix to reconsider their decision. While Netflix didn't listen, Adult Swim has now swooped in a year later to bring it back. This is only the second show canceled by Netflix to be revived, following One Day At A Time's revival by Pop TV. The show isn't produced by Netflix, which is why it was able to be revived by another network. The show is created by BoJack Horseman producer Lisa Hanawalt and is produced by BoJack creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg. Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong voice the titular characters, alongside Steven Yeun. Nicole Byer, Jenifer Lewis, Richard E. Grant and Reggie Watts appear in recurring roles.
