The return of Last Man Standing will last a little longer. Fox has ordered a third season of the revival, the ninth season overall for the one-time ABC series. Despite a big start in 2018, the show has been a more modest player since its move to Thursdays this season. It has averaged
0.74 this season, slightly lower than the league average but enough to put it smack dab in the middle of Fox's scripted lineup. It was the highest-rated part of the winter Thursday lineup, out-rating the freshman comedy Outmatched and the quickly-canceled Deputy. Tim Allen leads the cast, which also includes Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Molly McCook, Hector Elizondo, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams and Christoph Sanders.
