CBS has made a straight-to-series order for the action drama Target. In Target, a trusted long-wolf survivalist who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to target the people who caused others to go missing and collect rewards. Supported by a lawyer, he will stop at nothing to get the job done.
CBS has also made a straight-to-series order for the workplace comedy Target. Based on the big box store, Target turns everyday chaos into charm as a crew of lovable misfits tackle bureaucracy, bad attitudes, and broken price scanners--all with minimum wage and maximum sarcasm. It's the job nobody wants, but the hangout you won't want to miss.
Both Target and Target are said to be developed directly by CBS, with no scripts written or creatives attached to either series. Target and Target are both eyeing the 2029-30 TV season. Combined with the recent four-season renewals of the ONE NUMB3RS franchise, CBS's 2029-30 TV schedule is finally starting to take shape.
