With streaming performance growing more and more important in determining a show's renewal odds, we here at the TV Ratings Guide are taking a closer look at some of the publicly-available streaming data, tracking the streamer's top 10 (or top 15, in Hulu's case) TV lists that update daily to see which shows seem to be making an impact and which are fading into the background. Keep reading to see what people have been watching on Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max in the past week, and how some of these shows stack up to how they rate on broadcast and cable TV.
Hulu:
With original programs of their own, as well as programs from ABC and Fox, the streamer with the most varied trending chart of the four is Hulu. Thankfully, they also give us some extra insight with a top 15 instead of a top 10. ABC's 9-1-1 is a dominant performer on the chart, and was one of the few shows to chart for all seven days, ranking #1 for three days. Another show that held on throughout the entire week was High Potential, which has shown high potential on the Hulu charts, peaking at #3 this week in Thursday's update. Hulu originals Tell Me Lies and
Only Murders in the Building also charted throughout the week, Tell Me Lies peaking at #1 on Thursday
and Only Murders hitting its peak position
of #2 on Wednesday. A Hulu-exclusive Halloween special of Fox's Family Guy pushed the benched cartoon into the top 15 for six days, including a peak of #1. Ryan Murphy, one of Disney's top creators, saw several of his shows hit the charts
this week. In addition to his hit 9-1-1, American Horror Stories returned with another bath of five episodes just in time for Halloween. The series peaked at #1, but quickly fell off the chart entirely, with just three appearances this week. His only remaining show on Fox, 9-1-1: Lone Star, couldn't compare to its parent show, trending for three days and peaking at #4. Doctor Odyssey, his first show created for ABC, made the top 15 six times this week, though it mostly trailed its Thursday counterparts, 9-1-1 and Grey's Anatomy, which also cracked the top fifteen and seems to be underperforming a bit this season. Murphy's FX originals, American Sports Story and Grotesquerie, also cracked the top 15 this week, both peaking at #6. ABC's acclaimed sitcom Abbott Elementary only logged three appearances this week, and reached a peak of #5, suggesting a potentially waning interest on streaming in the show after dominant performances in its first three seasons. Hulu's trending chart was light on unscripted, though Dancing with the Stars charted twice, and The Floor, The Masked Singer and Hell's Kitchen all made the chart once. The Golden Bachelorette and 20/20 trended the most, with six and five appearances, respectively. Tracker, which does not stream new episodes next-day on Hulu due to it being a CBS show, made a single appearance on Monday's update, with the show's return on broadcast drawing some to watch the first season, which is available on Hulu. Of the broadcast shows available to stream on Hulu that released new episodes this week, Accused, Crime Scene Kitchen and What Would You Do? were the only ones to go entirely MIA, with streaming interest seemingly being just as tepid as their same-day ratings.

Peacock:

Peacock's chart was dominated by one show for the entirety of the week: Law & Order: SVU. The long-running procedural consistently held onto first place for all seven days, reinforcing its reputation as a dynamic streaming performer in addition to its strong linear ratings. In second for much of the week was fellow Thursday drama Found, with the sophomore drama remaining in second until Friday, when it surprisingly slumped to seventh before making its way back up to third on Saturday. SVU's fellow Dick Wolf dramas Chicago PD, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med were also mainstays of the Peacock top 10, with the original Law & Order making two appearances. Peacock original Teacup cracked the top 10 on five days. The most prominent unscripted entry on the list was Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, with shows from the franchise appearing on six of the seven days. Orange County was the best performer of the batch, peaking in second place and holding a place on the list for four days. NBC-turned-Peacock soap Days of Out Lives was also a consistent presence. The Irrational also made appearances at the beginning of the tracking period, as well as in the days following the release of a new episode, though its disappearance from the list this Saturday indicates declining interest from the previous week, having held in the top 10 until the Monday after its first airing. The Voice, SNL and Brilliant Minds also made the list in the few days following the release of new episodes on NBC. Having premiered less than 24 hours ago, and being available on Peacock for mere hours at the time of tracking, Happy's Place and Lopez vs Lopez were this week's only NBC originals not to appear on the list, in addition to Dateline, which didn't appear last week either.

Paramount+:

It was a busy week on CBS, and thus, a busy week on Paramount+. The network premiered most of its scripted series on its fall schedule this week, and most of the shows popped up in the top 10 over the course of the week. The most prominent of these was NCIS, which charted on all seven days, peaking at #1 on both the day after its premiere and on Saturday, five days after its Monday premiere. Spinoff NCIS: Origins didn't enjoy nearly the same strength, peaking at #4 on the day after its premiere and only remaining there for a single day. The most frequent #1 series was SpongeBob SquarePants, which took the top spot three times over the week and never dipped below second. Paramount+ original Tulsa King, which releases new episodes on Sundays, also had a spot on the list for all seven days, leading the way for the first two days after its new episode dropped. The only other Paramount+ original to appear on the list was SEAL Team, which ended its run two weeks ago. It charted for the first five days of tracking before dropping off the list. In terms of CBS originals, Tracker, Blue Bloods and Ghosts joined NCIS in trending for multiple days. Tracker premiered made the list on six days and peaked at #3 on the day following its premiere, while Blue Bloods clocked in at five appearances - peaking at #5 the day after its premiere - and Ghosts made the list three times, peaking at #3 on the day after its premiere. Ghosts was also the only show from the Thursday night lineup to not drop out of the top 10 on Saturday. Other CBS originals Big Brother, FBI, Survivor, Matlock, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and Elsbeth each made the top 10 the day after original airings, though only FBI held for more than one day. 60 Minutes, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted and The Summit were CBS's only originals to never chart this week despite airing new episodes. Unlike the other streamers, Paramount+ saw several older shows from the library taking up a slot on the list. The original Frasier made the chart on all seven days, while Paramount+'s reboot of the show didn't make the chart once. Everybody Loves Raymond also cracked the top 10 several times, as sitcoms continue to rank more highly on Paramount+ than on the other streamers. Criminal Minds, which has released two seasons as a Paramount+ original, also made the top 10 every day.

Max:

The Penguin ruled Max this week, ranking as their top show every day of the week. As the most high-profile HBO/Max original, that comes as no surprise. Max was the streamer in which scripted made by far the least impact on their top 10 charts, with over half the chart being comprised of unscripted content from Discovery networks. TLC's 90 Day Fiancé franchise appeared on the chart for six of seven days, with Before the 90 Days making the list on all six of those days, while The Other Way made three appearances. Two-part Docuseries I'm Not a Monster debuted at #4 on the day after its HBO premiere before rising to #2 for three days after. Halloween-themed reality programming also made a splash on Max. ID's The Real Murders on Elm Street was a staple of the list for all seven days, while Food Network's Halloween Wars and Halloween Baking Championship each clocked in one appearance and HGTV's Scariest House in America made two appearances. The Penguin wasn't the only scripted program to appear on the list, though, as late night comedy shows Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver also cracked the list. Last Week Tonight was a consistent part of the list, peaking at #2 for three days and remaining on the list all week, while Real Time was absent from the list entirely for three days, though it also peaked at #2, the day after it aired last week's episode. HBO original The Franchise, which airs alongside The Penguin and Last Week Tonight on HBO's Sunday lineup, trended every day, though only peaked as high as #5. Perhaps fueled by the premiere of spinoff Georgie & Mandy, WB-owned CBS sitcom Young Sheldon entered the list on Friday and remained there on Saturday. Adult Swim anime Uzumaki was also on the list all seven days.
