Tuesday TV Ratings 10/8/24: Accused Returns to Series Low, The Irrational Solid in Premiere, High Potential Rises [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: It was another rough night for Fox as crime drama Accused (0.16) began its second season with a new series low. The news was barely better in the 8 p.m. hour as Murder in a Small Town (0.18, -0.03) set a new low of its own and once more lost to the CW's WWE NXT (0.24, -0.02). Over on NBC, The Irrational (0.31) was down just three-hundredths from last year's series premiere (0.34) and retained close to two-thirds of The Voice (0.47). On ABC, Dancing with the Stars (0.62, +0.06) was up from yesterday, and High Potential (0.34, +0.03) also grew. CBS aired an Oprah Winfrey special about the Presleys (0.27) and drama reruns (0.21/0.16). Key: (P) = premiere. (R) = repeat.
