A Million Little Things: I've been waiting all season to make this show a certain renewal. I haven't spoken about it at all, and now that it's settling into its new slot, I think it's time. While not a hit, and not the strongest retainer, it's still doing well on a network that's been struggling in the scripted drama department this season. It's currently doing better than HTGAWM at 10 ()hough it has a stronger lead-in), and though it seems certain to hit the 0.5s HTGAWM was frequently scoring, I doubt it'll make 0.4s its regular rating like Stumptown and HTGAWM have done. ABC isn't in the position to get rid of a solid performer like AMLT. I was waiting to upgrade it until I saw its performance in its new slot, and now that I see it's doing just fine, I'm upgrading it to a CERTAIN RENEWAL.

The Good Doctor: Another show I haven't spoken about is The Good Doctor. It's been a CERTAIN RENEWAL all season long, and that won't be changing. It certainly isn't the massive hit that it once was, but it's still a very respectable player. Despite being distributed by Sony, there's no chance that the show isn't on ABC's schedule next season. Its 0.82 average makes it easily the #1 10 PM drama on ABC this year, topping #2 The Rookie by over two tenths. A fourth season is a certainty.

Emergence: I'll end this update by saying a quick farewell to Emergence, which wrapped up its first season since the last update. Its ratings were terrible despite decent sampling, and its 0.3s are simply not enough to make a renewal even a remote possibility. It ends season one as a CERTAIN CANCELLATION, and this will be the last I speak of it until May.
