Sunday TV Ratings 7/16/23: The Chosen Off to Decent Start on The CW, Celebrity Family Feud and Tough as Nails Slide to New Lows, CONCACAF Gold Cup Solid on Fox (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: 'The Prank Panel' (0.29, -0.02) and 'Celebrity Family Feud' (0.33, -0.05) both slipped to new lows on ABC, despite already having soft starts last week. In the 10 p.m. time slot, 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.29, 0.00) held flat but still fell short of the 7 o'clock rerun of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.33). CBS's 'Tough as Nails' (0.14, -0.05) also crashed to a new low and lost almost 50% of its '60 Minutes' lead-in (0.27). The 9 p.m. rerun of 'The Equalizer' (0.16) grew from 'Nails', but the 10 p.m. repeat of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.13) slipped from there. On Fox, the 2023 'CONCACAF Gold Cup' (0.37) led the network to a rare, Sunday-night victory in the Adults 18-49 demographic. NBC went with repeats of 'American Ninja Warrior' (0.14) and 'America's Got Talent' (0.19). 'The Chosen' (0.06) had a perfectly fine start by CW standards and led into an encore of 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.02).
