Friday TV Ratings 7/28/23: WWE Smackdown and Moonshine Decline, Tough as Nails Rises (UPDATED)


Ratings Analysis: Fox staple 'WWE Smackdown' (0.61, -0.01) dropped by a hundredth but still dominated Friday night as it almost always does. On the CW, 'Family Law' (0.05, -0.02) and 'Moonshine' (0.03, -0.02) were both on the decline. CBS's 'Tough as Nails' (0.20, +0.02) inched up from Sunday's episode and was followed by repeats of 'Fire Country' (0.12) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.14). Encores of 'Will Trent' (0.16) and '20/20' (0.17) were lower than last week on ABC. NBC's 'Dateline' encore (0.18) dropped by three-hundredths, but the 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge' rerun (0.16) remained unchanged. 

Finals Update: The repeat of 'Will Trent' (+0.1) adjusted up. 'Moonshine' (-0.1) adjusted down.
