Saturday TV Ratings 7/1/23: USFL Stays Low in Championship Game, MLB Leads (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Pittsburgh faced off against Birmingham in the 'USFL Championship' on NBC (0.16), but the ratings only improved by a slight amount from last week's broadcast (0.14). Fox led the way once more as 'MLB: Regional Coverage' (0.38, +0.05) picked up half a tenth when compared to the previous Saturday. ABC's 'America's Funniest Home Videos' repeats (0.22/0.20/0.18) outrated every non-Fox offering. CBS had a feeble rerun of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.10) and encores of '48 Hours' (0.12/0.13). The CW had repeats of 'Masters of Illusion' (0.04/0.04) and 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.02).

Finals Update: MLB: Regional Coverage (+0.1), the USFL Championship (+0.1), and the 10 PM repeat of America's Funniest Home Videos (+0.1) adjusted up.
