Friday TV Ratings 6/30/23: Dateline NBC Declines, WWE SmackDown Jumps (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.69, +0.08) pulled off an impressive bounce-back and tripled its nearest competitor in the Adults 18-49 demographic (a rerun of 'Dateline' on NBC that posted a 0.23). 'Dateline' once more had poor lead-in support as the 8 p.m. repeat of 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge' (0.16) declined by three-hundredths from the encore that aired a week ago (0.19). ABC's rerun of 'Will Trent' (0.18) was even with last week and led into an encore of '20/20' (0.16). CBS's 'SWAT' repeat (0.21) dipped by a hundredth. Reruns of 'Fire Country' (0.17) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.19) were flat. The CW had repeats of 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.06), 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' (0.05), and 'The Great American Joke Off' (0.05).

Finals Update: 'WWE SmackDown' (+0.1) adjusted up, as did repeats of Fire Country (+0.1), Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge (+0.1), and 20/20 (+0.1).
