Saturday TV Ratings 7/8/23: Greatest Geek Year Ever Has OK Start, MLB Leads Again, Women’s US Open Golf Low (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The series premiere of 'Greatest Geek Year Ever' (0.04) was passable by The CW's standards and could only tie last week's reruns of 'Masters of Illusion' (0.04/0.04). Repeats of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.03/0.03) occupied the 9 o'clock hour. On the Fox network, 'MLB Regional Coverage' (0.44, +0.06) grew some more and topped the night as it normally does. ABC's broadcast of 'UFC 290' (0.33) settled for a strong, second-place finish in the Adults 18-49 demographic. At 10, a rerun of 'The Prank Panel' (0.11) only retained a third of the 'UFC' rating. NBC's showing of the '2023 Women's US Open Golf Championship' (0.11) was incredibly meager and lost out to the encore of 'America's Got Talent' (0.12) that followed it. CBS aired repeats of 'NCIS' (0.11) and '48 Hours' (0.14/0.16).

Finals Update: 'MLB: Regional Coverage' (+0.1), 'UFC 290' (+0.1), and the 10 PM repeat of '48 Hours' (+0.1) adjusted up.
