Ratings Analysis: The Sunday game show lineup was back in action on ABC, but the results were not particularly encouraging. 'The Prank Panel' (0.31) took over the 8 p.m. time slot and ended up declining from the rerun of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.38) that held down the 7 o'clock hour. To its credit, this rating was a hundredth higher than its May preview (0.30), but it was clearly lower than what 'Celebrity Family Feud' would post in this slot in the past. 'Feud' itself (0.38) got off to a shaky start in its new, 9 p.m. time slot. This rating went below every episode from summer 2022 and serves as a new series low for the program. At 10, 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.29) narrowly avoided new-low territory but fell behind the vast majority of its summer '22 installments.
On Fox, animated sitcom 'HouseBroken' (0.11/0.09) returned for another round of episodes after being off the air for over a month. The series tied its previous low at 9:30 and was preceded by reruns of 'Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars' (0.11), 'The Simpsons' (0.13), and 'Family Guy' (0.10). On CBS, 'Tough As Nails' (0.18) shed a hundredth from last Sunday's premiere, even as '60 Minutes' (0.36, +0.08) shot up. Repeats of 'The Equalizer' (0.13) and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.12) occupied the slots they often do. On NBC, the '2023 Women's U.S. Open Golf Championship' (0.17) improved a bit from Saturday's telecast (0.11) and led into another 'America's Got Talent' rerun (0.16). The CW had encores of 'Gotham Knights' (0.04) and 'Superman & Lois' (0.04). Both grew by a hundredth when compared to last week.
Finals Update: 'Celebrity Family Feud' (+0.1) adjusted up, as did repeats of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (+0.1), '60 Minutes' (+0.1), and 'America's Got Talent' (+0.1).
