Single Parents: I don't think this show earned its renewal to begin with, and I've thought from the start that it would be two-and-done. The ratings really don't warrant a renewal, but it's performing on-par with other low-end ABC comedies and has been steady. It was down this week airing behind a Modern Family repeat, but it still managed to grow a decent amount from that repeat, showing that there's at least some interest in the show and that it isn't only drawing viewers that are already watching Modern. Its retention is only slightly worse than Schooled's retention of The Goldbergs while being less compatible than those two shows. It's fully owned (while Schooled is not), and has more episodes to its name than Schooled, Bless This Mess and Mixed-ish. Even if the ratings are low, I think there's worse choices to renew. I'm upgrading it to LEANS RENEWAL.

Stumptown: I've been reluctant to move Stumptown so far, but the day it received a backorder is as good of a day as any to upgrade it. It's been very steady so far, and is performing on-par with The Rookie and higher than Emergence and How To Get Away With Murder. Its Single Parents lead-in doesn't provide very much support to it, and the DVR numbers show that there's clear interest in the show (even if that metric isn't monetized). ABC could easily cancel the show, but today's backorder makes me suspect that they're behind it. It LEANS RENEWAL but I have my eye on it.

Emergence: Today, ABC announced that their Tuesday newbie drama Emergence would not be receiving any episodes past its initial 13, stating that this was always the plan. While I'm not convinced that that is the case, I'm not going to be downgrading the show because of it. It's still just LIKELY TO BE CANCELED.
