This tournament started off with 32 shows that reached #1 on our What's Trending chart for the respective streaming service between January 4 and May 2, 2026. Shows are weighted based on how many days they ranked at #1, as well as the market shares for the streaming services. A total of 107 shows have spent at least one day ranking at #1 its service's What's Trending chart, with the top-weighted 32 making the May Mayhem Tournament.

In the 1 seed vs. 4 seed matchup, South Park (representing Paramount+) comfortably defeated Hulu's Paradise by a margin of 38-26. This ends Paradise's Cinderella run, which entered the Group round as an 8 seed and won its 8-show group to appear in the semifinals.
South Park will face The Rookie (representing Hulu), which handily defeated Prime Video's Invincible by a margin of 28-16.
This leaves two shows that air on linear first in the finals of the streaming-oriented tournament. South Park spent 66 days at #1 on the What's Trending chart for Paramount+ between January 4 and May 2, 2026, while The Rookie spent 18 days at #1 on the What's Trending chart for Hulu in the same time period. South Park first airs on Comedy Central, while The Rookie first airs on ABC. They are two of the three shows in the 32-show tournament to also air on linear television, though their audiences are primarily found on streaming services.
