Sunset Valley Season 2 Episode 1: Welcome to Sunrise Valley (Season Premiere)

SUNSET VALLEY

Season 2, Episode 1: "Welcome to Sunrise Valley"

FADE IN.

EXT. SUNRISE VALLEY – DAY

The town of Sunrise Valley is in front of them: peaceful and serene, bathed in the gentle light of the morning sun. It’s the picture of "perfect" tranquility, but something feels wrong. Very wrong. The buildings seem all a bit too perfect. The sky a little too clear.

ELLIOT, JONAS, MARGOT, SYLVIA, and SHERIFF HARLOW stand at the edge of the town square, looking around, still reeling from their last encounter with the Pale Man. There’s an uneasy tension in the air.

ELLIOT
This doesn’t feel right. I know we're in a different town, but...

SYLVIA
It's just... too quiet. Like we're still being watched.

JONAS
Maybe it’s just... us being paranoid.

MARGOT
Or us finally being ahead of whatever this thing is.

They move slowly, with caution in every step, through the streets, the sound of their footsteps echoing in the quiet town. It feels like the town is waiting.

SHERIFF HARLOW (quietly)
None of this makes sense. This is not where we are supposed to be.

Suddenly, a stray cat crosses their path, its eyes glowing faintly. It stops, stares, then disappears into a dark alley.

JONAS
What’s with that cat?

SYLVIA
I don’t know. But I don’t like cats, so I'll assume it's nothing good. (She giggles)

They pass by perfectly placed houses, empty parks, and closed down shops. The town feels frozen in time.

But the silence is so loud, it's unbearable.

Then, they hear something: a soft humming in the distance.

ELLIOT
I'm not going crazy, am I? Y'all hear that, right?

They turn a corner.

EXT. SUNRISE VALLEY PARK – DAY

A massive, ornate fountain stands at the center. At its base, a silhouetted figure is humming, back turned.

MARGOT
That's for sure some creepy ass thing so I'm voting for us to move in the opposite direction.

As they get closer, the figure turns.

A woman in her early 40s, serene, dressed in simple white, perfectly matching the eerie simplicity of the town.

WOMAN
Welcome to Sunrise Valley.

Her voice is smooth, almost hypnotic. The group freezes.

JONAS
Excuse me, do you know where we are? We literally just "popped" into town so we know nothing about this place.

WOMAN
I know everything about this town.

She stands up, locking eyes with each of them, smiling: too perfect, too calculated.

WOMAN
You’ve been brought here because you’re part of something much bigger than you can imagine. Something that's yet to be finished.

MARGOT
Hey, Creepy Lady. Cut off with the charades. What do you mean by that?

WOMAN
The loop hasn’t ended. Not for you. And not for me.

She raises her hand. The fountain’s water begins to move, forming intricate patterns. A purple glow appears.

SYLVIA
What is that?

WOMAN (whispering)
The key to everything.

A flash of light erupts. When it fades, the woman is gone. The fountain returns to stillness.

JONAS
Of course. We HAD to come into yet another creepy ass town. Where did that lady go?

SYLVIA (softly)
This place… It’s like... home. Like Sunset Valley, but… something's not right.

SHERIFF HARLOW
This can’t be real. We must be dreaming or trapped. There's no town called Sunrise Valley. I’d know if there was a "copy-paste" version of our own.

Footsteps echo behind them. A man in a dark suit appears, masked, eerily familiar.

MAN IN SUIT
Hello, again. As you can see, the cycle is starting all over again.

ELLIOT (stepping forward)
No. We are done with this. Take us home, NOW!

MAN IN SUIT
Oh, how naive of you… You have no choice. You'll do as I say.

He steps closer. His voice is cold. Distant.

MAN IN SUIT
Welcome to the beginning of Act II.

The town begins to shake. Buildings blur, flicker, distort — like a broken TV screen.

Elliot’s vision blurs. Everything spirals.

ELLIOT
No. Please, not this again. (Elliot falls in pain)

The sky cracks open, revealing a shiny beam of purple light. The town begins to collapse into chaosglass shattering, buildings breaking.

And then… the town disappears.

All we see is... nothing.

CUT TO BLACK.
