The Conners Renewed for Seventh and Final Season

It's time to say farewell to the Conners. ABC has renewed the series, a continuation/spinoff of Roseanne, for a seventh and final season. The series first made it onto the airwaves after the Roseanne revival was canceled following controversial tweets by its titular star, with the series being repurposed as The Conners and starring the remaining members of the cast. The revamped series was a ratings success, and rated among ABC's top scripted series for much of its run. Ratings declined this season, as part of a dilapidated Wednesday comedy block that consisted of just three comedies, though its 0.37 average was still enough for it to be ABC's #4 scripted series of the season. The seventh and final season is expected to run for just six episodes, meaning less than ten episodes remain in the show's run. John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Grandson star in the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

What do you think of this news? Will you miss The Conners after it wraps up its run next season? Let us know in the comments?
