Night Court will be back in session. NBC's continuation of their iconic 1980s comedy has been renewed for a third season, leaving just two shows on the network with their fates still hanging in the balance. Night Court was the network's highest-rated comedy this season, with a 0.33 average, and is the network's first comedy renewal of the season. It joins new comedy St. Denis Medical, which was ordered to series all the way back in June of 2023. Original Night Court star John Larroquette reprised his Emmy-winning role as Dan Fielding in the series, and was joined by producer Melissa Rauch, India de Beaufort, Lacretta and Nyambi Nyambi in the series' principal cast, with Marsha Warfield, the only other surviving multi-season cast member from the original Night Court, making guest appearances. The series' third season is expected to run for eighteen episodes, in spite of co-producer Warner Bros' pushing for a full twenty-two episode season. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
