Red alert: Fox has ordered a third season of police procedural Alert: Missing Persons Unit. With an average of just 0.15, the series is the lowest-rated show on the Big Four networks, tied with The Great North, another sign of the L+SD demo ratings' dwindling impact on renewal decisions. However, despite its weak linear performance, the show is said to perform well on Hulu, leaving Fox satisfied with its overall performance. In order to keep down costs, the show is jumping straight into filming season three upon the completion of filming for season two. Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez star in the series.
