Not Dead Yet Canceled After Two Seasons

Not Dead Yet now just dead. ABC has canceled the low-rated sitcom after two short seasons. The series was the final scripted show on ABC still awaiting a renewal decision this season. Not Dead Yet was ABC's lowest-rated comedy by a significant margin this season, with just a 0.25 average, and was their second-lowest-rated show overall, only surpassing The Good Doctor, which has also been canceled. The news comes as ABC prepares to end veteran sitcom The Conners next season, meaning that, barring unexpected scheduling for the final season of The Conners, Abbott Elementary will be the network's only veteran sitcom as they head into 2025. Over its two seasons, Not Dead Yet aired twenty-three episodes, airing its series finale on April 24. Gina Rodriguez, Hannah Simone, Lauren Ash, Angela E. Gibbs and Brad Garrett star in the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
