Saturday TV Ratings 5/4/24: Saturday Night Live Rises with Host Dua Lipa, NHL Playoffs Lead the Night, 48 Hours Down [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: NBC's Saturday Night Live (0.77, +0.02) was up slightly for its Dua Lipa-hosted episode but could not be crowned as the top-rated program of the night, as that distinction went to ABC's NHL Playoffs broadcast (0.94). Earlier in the night, NBC had reruns of The Wall (0.45), Weakest Link (0.30), and Saturday Night Live (0.35). On Fox, MLB: Regional Coverage (0.28) more than doubled last week's UFL (0.13). 48 Hours (0.19, -0.05) slipped on CBS. I Am Johnny Cash (0.07) performed reasonably well by CW standards.
