The Red Line Canceled by CBS

The Red Line is going to remain a one-time event. The late-season limited series had one of the lowest-rated launches of any show ever on the Big 4, scoring a 0.4 on premiere night. The show was always going to have a tough road to renewal. The show's storyline was designed to only span the first season, and it would have needed to be rebooted next season. The low ratings made it clear that that wasn't worth it. Noah Wyle, Noel Fisher and Michael Patrick Thornton starred in the series, which was EP'd by Ava DuVernay.
