It's been a long journey to get to this point, but One Day At a Time won't be ending after three season, after all. The acclaimed Netflix comedy has been saved by Pop (the US home of Schitt's Creek), a network that is owned by CBS, which has been a supporter of the show since Netflix canceled it. The CBS All-Access service was initially interested in the series, before Netflix shot down that idea. While Netflix was able to stop a deal for ODAAT to be rescued by a competing streaming service, they were unable to stop any deals for a television network to save it, which allowed Pop to get the rights to the show. The series aired 39 episodes on Netflix, and will air at least 13 more on Pop. In addition to producing 13 new episodes, the cable network will also receive the right to broadcast the earlier seasons of the show. Parent network CBS will re-broadcast the fourth season after it airs on Pop, as well. The series stars Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz and Stephen Tobolowsky, and is a reboot of the 1970s Norman Lear series of the same name.
