Spin The Wheel and Holey Moley: Both shows started off stronger than expected on Thursday, with Holey Moley even cracking a 1.0 for its premiere, topping the night. Spin The Wheel took second at 0.8, growing from its lead-in, the battered and bruised MasterChef. Neither data point is huge for an in-season premiere, but they are impressive for Summer debuts, especially given their expectations. I find it hard to believe that either will go low enough to be canceled, but with just one week's worth of data, I won't be putting either down as certain renewals. They start in the LIKELY RENEWAL category.

Family Food Fight and Reef Break: On the other end of the spectrum, you have these debuts. Family Food Fight had what could be described as a disastrous premiere at 9 behind
Holey Moley, and Reef Break had a lower (but less disastrous considering the circumstances) result at 10. Neither show had high expectations to begin with, but Family Food Fight undoubtedly underperformed and Reef Break met the low expectations. Neither of them really seem to have strong network support, and I don't see any real incentive for ABC to renew them. They're only bound to sink lower, with 0.4s and 0.3s probably in the future. They could suprise, but at this point, they're huge underdogs. They're LIKELY CANCELLATIONS.

The InBetween: Last week, The InBetween fell to a 0.4, making it down from Reverie for the first time this season. There really wasn't a path to renewal before, but now there isn't any way that this will be renewed. It was an in-season reject that needed to impress in order get a renewal, and it's doing anything but impressive. It's a CERTAIN CANCELLATION.

Blood & Treasure: Despite terrible ratings and pretty poor treatment from the network, this week Blood & Treasure became the first summer show of the season renewed to be renewed, aside from those that were renewed before their seasons began. It didn't deserve it based on the ratings, but there had to be an economical reason to justify this decision.
