It's the end of an era at TV Land. The network has canceled their last remaining scripted original, Teachers, after three seasons. Younger, the network's other original series, was previously announced as being on the move to Paramount, which left Teachers as the odd show out. The sitcom, now in its third season, was far from a hit, and this decision isn't very much of a shock. Teachers is currently on hiatus and will return for the second half of its third and final season in 2019. With an average of 0.09 so far, Teachers was a poor retainer of Younger, its lead-in, which seems to have doomed its chances. Below are the ratings for the first half of Teachers' third and final season.
