Because the backorders did not change the story on the fates of Charmed, Legacies, and All American, Supernatural has to go in the headline. Fans need not to worry about Supernatural's fate, it's certain to be renewed for another season. There is no way CW will cancel the third highest rated show on its network anytime soon.

As with the backorders, the full season pickup for Charmed was not a surprise as it is 100% produced by CBS, just like Dynasty. All American and Legacies each got three more episodes added to their episode totals, and both will end their first seasons with 16 episodes. With the partial backorders, I don't know what to think. Because of the late start for Legacies, a partial backorder makes sense. However the same cannot be said about All American, since it started earlier. The only positive news I can come up with is that All American's A18-49 ratings have improved greatly from starting at a 0.194 to a 0.3, a mini Empire effect. But for now, both the predictions for Legacies and All American will remain unchanged. But I do have questions. Will this leave Friday mainstay Dynasty more vulnerable to cancelation? Very unlikely, but time will tell. Even with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, iZombie, and Jane the Virgin ending, the CW is certain to cancel at least one more show. As it stands right now, cancelation for All American is becoming much less likely and we have next week to make an upward call for it. That means In the Dark, Roswell, New Mexico and The 100 will be in some danger midseason.
