It's time for another edition of What's Trending on Streaming, as the last week brought us several new premieres, as well as the departures of several popular series that aired their finales.
Hulu:
There was an eclectic collection of #1 shows on Hulu this week, with no show topping the chart more than twice. Devil in the Family and Paradise remained strong, and both hit #1 twice this week. Also going to #1 was The Oscars, with plenty tuning in the day after the ceremony aired. It charted three days in all. The Kardashians also went to #1 after being blocked from the #1 spot last week. At the end of the week, though, came the return of a typical Hulu power player, as 9-1-1 kicked off the second half of its eighth season at #1. Just behind it was Grey's Anatomy, which also returned this week, while Doctor Odyssey trailed them both at #5 overall. All three shows charted two days in all this week, with a few hours of Hulu availability on Friday being enough to get all three of them spots towards the bottom of thew chart before a full day of availability sent them all the way up the chart. With the Tuesday dramas off, The Bachelor and Abbott Elementary were the main highlights of ABC's week outside of the Thursday dramas. Both charted the entire week, with The Bachelor peaking at #2 and Abbott peaking at #3. Shifting Gears has seen better days on streaming, no longer charting through the whole week, but it did get into the top fifteen four times this week, peaking at #5. 20/20 also peaked at #5, with five appearances on the chart. A short preview of American Idol, which aired behind the Oscars, charted two times this week. The Rookie didn't air this week, so it started out the week solid as usual, but dropped as the week went on, charting six days in all. Will Trent charted four days. Celebrity Jeopardy! and What Would You Do? were the only ABC shows to miss the chart this week. With no Doc this week (though it did chart two days regardless), it was a tepid week for Fox. Their best performer was Extracted, which peaked at #5 this week, and charted two days. Family Guy charted twice, and peaked at #10, a clear decline from the previous week. Rescue: HI-Surf looked a bit better this week, charting three times and peaking at #6. Kitchen Nightmares also peaked at #6, with two chart appearances, and fellow Ramsay series Next Level Chef charted three times and peaked at #7. The Floor had the most appearances on the chart of any Fox series this week, with four, while The Masked Singer only managed one appearance at #10. Animal Control managed to just sneak into the top fifteen, at #14 on Saturday. Grimsburg, The Great North, Krapopolis and Going Dutch all continued to miss out on the chart. New Hulu original Deli Boys dropped its entire first season this week and peaked at #6 over three appearances (and counting).
Disney+:
It was another clean sweep for TV on Disney+, with television shows making up the majority of the top five for the entire week on the service. Three different shows topped the chart. Animated baseball series Win or Lose, from Pixar, pulled back ahead of Devil in the Family for the first two days of the week, but dropped behind it again on Tuesday. It rose back ahead of it by the next day (and for the remainder of the week), but it didn't return to #1, due to the debut of a new series. Daredevil: Born Again, a continuation of the mid-2010s Netflix series Daredevil (the first of many Marvel streaming series), premiered this week, and has been #1 on the service since that debut. Hulu's Paradise also remained strong, charting the entire week and peaking at #3. Fellow Hulu series Deli Boys did make it onto the chart, but only once. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place continued to chart after the second half of its season was added to Disney+, but interest was much weaker for this batch of episodes. While it remained in the top ten for weeks after the debut of the series back in October, it was out of the chart four days into the week, having charted for three of those days. Shifting Gears, briefly a staple of the Disney+ chart, snuck onto the top 10 again this week, at #8 for a single day. Films in the top ten for multiple days this week included three of the Avengers movies, Pacific: Rim Uprising, Ice Princess, Venom, and The Angry Birds Movie.
Note: Disney+ is the only service not to provide a separate list for TV shows and movies. On this chart, movies are listed in bold.
Peacock:
Law & Order: SVU remained a strong entry on Peacock this week, but the finale of a popular Peacock original, plus the lack of a new episode, knocked it off of first place at the end of this week. SVU topped the chart five times this week, but it was The Traitors that ended the week on top, following the conclusion of the reality completion show's third season. Continuing to run just behind SVU the entire week was The Office, which continues to outpace nearly every ongoing original show. Few NBC series charted this week, but the Chicagos were consistently in the top ten. In a massive twist, Chicago Med emerged as the strongest of the trio for the majority of this week, after regularly ranking as the weakest of the trio on Peacock since the start of the season. PD pulled back ahead last the end of the week, but Fire remained in last of the three through it all. The other NBC shows on the chart were mostly one-off appearances., Saturday Night Live charted one day at #6, Suits LA charted one day at #9, and Law & Order and Deal or No Deal Island each charted one day at #10. Found managed to hang on the chart for two days, peaking at #8. The Americas, Grosse Pointe Garden Society and The Hunting Party all failed to chart this week, while the trio of comedies and The Irrational were all off this week, but let's be honest, they wouldn't have charted anyway.Note: Peacock's top 10 chart updates throughout the day. For consistency, all data collection is done daily at 2 PM.
Paramount+:
It was another strong week on Paramount+ for 1923, as the Taylor Sheridan series topped the chart three days, the most of any series. In fact, it was the only series to top the chart multiple times this week. NCIS only hit #1 once, which is among its weaker performances in 2025. School Spirits finished its second season this week, and charted the entire week, peaking at #1, similarly to Yellowjackets. Fire Country, blocked from #1 last Saturday by 1923, managed to pull ahead this week, having charted five days in all. Tracker peaked at #2, with five chart appearances in all. Watson continued to peak fairly high, hitting #4 once again. The Neighborhood charted three times this week, peaking at #4. Survivor peaked at #3 on the chart, its best showing on the Paramount+ chart since the start of this column in October 2024. Georgie & Mandy, which continues to hit its stride in linear ratings, continues to chart as well as it ever has, with three chart appearances and a #7 peak. Matlock charted twice, peaking at #5. Elsbeth snuck onto the chart at #10 for one day. Ghosts was, as always, the highlight of the Thursday block, peaking at #2 and charting the whole week. The Equalizer, Poppa's House, The Amazing Race, NCIS: Sydney and SWAT all failed to chart this week despite airing new episodes.
Note: As with Peacock, Paramount+'s top 10 chart updates throughout the day. For consistency, all data collection is done daily at 2 PM.
Max:
The top of the Max chart remained the exact same this week, with The Pitt starting out the week at #1, being beaten by The White Lotus the next four days, and then back at #1 the last two days of the week. Last Week Tonight also had a similar trajectory, charting through the entire week and again peaking at #2. Real Time with Bill Maher peaked at #3 this week, with five appearances in all. Spanish-language Max original Coyotl: Hero and Beast charted three times this week, peaking at #8. Harley Quinn peaked at #4, with three chart appearances in all. HBO also debuted a new sports docuseries about the Boston Celtics, Celtics City, this week. It didn't make a massive impact on Max, but charted twice, peaking at #7. The Righteous Gemstones charted five days this week, in anticipation of the premiere of the show's fourth and final season next week, peaking at #5. Baylen Out Loud remained a solid entry representing Discovery's unscripted networks, peaking at #3 and continuing to chart through the week. The Baldwins look less promising in its second week, charting only a single day, while 90 Day Fiancé had an off week, peaking at #5, falling off the chart entirely the next day, and only returning towards the bottom of the chart the next two days.
