CBS Orders Full Seasons of Poppa’s House and NCIS: Origins

CBS continues to be the only network announcing news on the futures of its freshman shows, this time ordering more episodes of two shows on its Monday lineup. Sitcom Poppa's House and NCIS spinoff NCIS: Origins have both been handed five additional episodes each, bringing their episode counts for their first seasons to eighteen episodes apiece. This news comes after the Tiffany Network previously ordered a full twenty-two episode season of freshman comedy Georgie & Mandy, and renewed freshman drama Matlock for a second season. All four of the network's new fall shows are now confirmed to run for full seasons, though the network's lack of a midseason bench meant all of these extensions were mostly foregone conclusions.
