Saturday TV Ratings 6/11/22: Despicable Me 3 Mediocre In Broadcast Debut, MLB Leads Once More on Low-Rated Night (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Illumination film 'Despicable Me 3' (0.23) made its debut on broadcast television in incredibly mediocre fashion. Though this was over 150% higher than last week's 'Transplant' (0.09), the animated feature was embarrassingly outpaced a 10PM rerun of 'Dateline' (0.25). Fox's 'MLB Regional Coverage' (0.37) went four-hundredths higher than the week-ago broadcast and led the network to yet another Saturday evening victory. ABC began the night with a solid 'America's Funniest Home Videos' rerun (0.25), but subsequent repeats of 'Shark Tank' (0.20) and 'The Rookie' (0.12) tapered off from there. CBS's underwhelming reruns of 'NCIS: LA' (0.14), 'SWAT' (0.18), and '48 Hours' (0.17) could not hold a candle to the alphabet network's 'AFV' repeat. On the CW, 'Would I Lie To You?' (0.04, -0.01) took a small hit while 'Masters of Illusion' (0.02, -0.03) suffered another deadly blow. 'Masters' led into a repeat of itself (0.02) that fully retained that feeble rating. The 8PM 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' encore (0.07) once again bested everything else on the network.

Finals Update: 'MLB Regional Coverage' (+0.2) and the repeat of '48 Hours' (+0.1) adjusted up.
