TV Ratings 8/25/17: NFL Takes the Lead, 20/20 Ties Dateline (UPDATED)


Here are the final broadcast ratings for Friday, August 25, 2017.

Finals Update: CBS's NFL Game (1.4) adjusted up. All of the CW (0.2/0.2/0.2) adjusted down. Repeats of MasterChef (0.5), WWYD (0.6), and an original 20/20 (0.7) also adjusted down.

CBS's preseason football game (1.2) was easily the strongest program of the night and was a significant improvement over the network's drama repeat lineup.

At 10, ABC's 20/20 (0.8) was up a tenth of a point from its last result and tied NBC's Dateline (0.8).


Fox decided to go with 2 hours of MasterChef (0.6) and did not air their usual Beat Shazam repeat.


The CW had their typical mix of magic show repeats and originals (0.3/0.3/0.3).
