Sporcle Off-Topic Quizzes of the Week- Daily Dose Edition/Sporcle Contest Part 4 (UPDATED)

It's week four, and we're going to focus on quizzes from each "Daily Dose" category on Sporcle. You probably don't know what the Daily Dose is, so I'll explain. Essentially, one quiz of each type are published each day to create the "Daily Dose". These quizzes are the Missing Word, Quick Pick, On This Day, and Word Ladder quizzes. You likely aren't familiar with them, but you will be in a few minutes.

1- Missing Word: Tim Curry

Tim Curry is one of my favorite actors, so I just had to feature this quiz. It's really fun, and it includes a lot of iconic movies that Curry has starred in. There's some movies here that I didn't even know he was in, so I guess I gotta go watch them. Unfortunately, my favorite Curry film, Clue, is nowhere to be found on this quiz.

2- Quick Pick: 69th Emmys Outstanding Series Nominees

This is a TV site, so this quiz will likely be the easiest for all of us. All you have to do is pick which shows received Emmy nominations in Outstanding Series categories, avoiding those that aren't. I made this quiz shortly after Emmy nominations were announced, and it is my favorite Quick Pick I've made so far.

3- Word Ladder: The Office Love Triangle

Word Ladders aren't really my thing. I'm terrible at them and I have yet to work up the nerve to actually make one. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good one. And this one, focusing on one of my favorite shows, the Office, is definitely an enjoyable one. And I actually did well on it for a change.

4- On This Day: August 1st

"On This Day" is the newest Daily Dose quiz type to be introduced, and it's unique in that only admins create them. They're also incredibly short and use a format I rarely feature here (though that will change soon), the Multiple Choice quiz, I enjoy them, because they're a nice way to get a little blast of history, and more often than not, I learn something.
