Saturday TV Ratings 8/12/23: Baking It Rises for Finale Amid NFL Preseason Preemptions, Ms. Marvel Down for Finale, MLB Leads (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Peacock original 'Baking It' (0.13, +0.02) picked up two-hundredths for its NBC finale and was followed by a rerun of 'America's Got Talent' (0.15). Disney+ series 'Ms. Marvel' (0.15/0.11/0.09) was up a good bit for its 8 p.m. episode on ABC but dropped down to a new low by the time the 10 p.m. finale aired. On CBS, encores of 'NCIS: Hawai'i' (0.09) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.09) were put to shame by the 10 o'clock repeat of '48 Hours' (0.17). Fox took the top spot in the Adults 18-49 demographic with 'MLB: Regional Coverage' (0.40). 'Great Chocolate Showdown' (0.05, +0.02) picked up two-hundredths on the CW. This comes one week after it debuted with a 0.03 rating. 'Recipe For Disaster' grew by the same amount as 'Chocolate' for both the 9 p.m. episode (0.04, +0.02) and the 9:30 p.m. (0.04, +0.02) one.
