Preliminary Analysis: CBS's 'Patriots v. Chiefs' NFL game (3.6) easily took the lead on a night where no other show even managed to cross the 1.0 threshold. Lead-out 'Big Brother' (0.8) took no advantage of its massive lead-in, shedding two-tenths from its last Sunday episode. After three episodes above a 1, ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' (0.9) shed two-tenths from its week-ago showing and slipped to a new season low. But 10pm drama 'Emergency Call' (0.6) admirably held even despite the decline from 'Dancing', matching its debut rating from last week.
NBC's 'Joe Biden Town Hall' (0.5) fell a tenth short of President Trump's ABC town hall from back in September (0.6). Afterwards, 'American Ninja Warrior' (0.4) sunk to an ugly new low. Fox's dismal drama lineup got even weaker as 'LA's Finest' (0.3) lost a tenth while 'Filthy Rich' (0.3) was flat with its last outing. The CW had decent showings of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.2/0.1) and 'Penn & Teller' (0.2).
Finals Update: CBS's Patriots v. Chiefs NFL game (4.0, +0.4) and 'Big Brother' (0.9, +0.1) adjusted up. NBC's Joe Biden town hall (0.7, +0.2) adjusted up by two-tenths, now one-tenth ahead what Trump's town hall did in September. ABC's 'Emergency Call' (0.5, -0.1) and 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.1, -0.1) adjusted down.
