New drama 'Next' has finally premiered and its numbers have been taken into account. One other show has been downgraded when compared to the last renew/cancel post. These changes are reflected in the table below.

Key
Show Title [Average Adults 18-49 Rating/Most recent rating]

Next [0.3/0.3]: It's hard to imagine anyone had high expectations for Fox's new drama 'Next'. With an anemic 'Cosmos' lead-in and non-existent online fanfare, there was little reason to expect strong numbers. The bar was already on the floor but the John Slattery drama still managed to fall below it, premiering to a putrid 0.3 A18-49 rating on October 6th. It debuted lower than both 'L.A. Finest' (0.5) and 'Filthy Rich' (0.5), two shows that are on life support themselves. Barring a sudden surge in popularity, there's virtually no path to renewal for this newbie. The question is no longer "Will Next be renewed?" so much as it is "Will Next stay on the air or be pulled from the schedule?"

L.A.'s Finest [0.41/0.32]: 'L.A. Finest' has been downgraded from a "Tossup" to "Likely to be Canceled". The police drama began with a passable 0.5 A18-49 rating and looked slightly stronger than its 'Filthy Rich' counterpart. Had the series stayed in that territory, it might have had a solid chance at remaining on the roster. But 'Finest' fell to a 0.4 in week 2 and was down to a paltry 0.3 rating for its latest installment. With no sign of slowing the slide, its days on the Fox network are clearly numbered.

Bless the Harts [0.5/0.4]: After the football boost faded away in week two, 'Bless the Harts' plummeted from a respectable 0.8 rating to a disastrous 0.3. Luckily for Betty and her family, the series inched up to a 0.4 in week three and was only a tenth below its 'Simpsons' lead-in (0.5) and 'Bob's Burgers' (0.5) lead-out. It almost seems like ratings are irrelevant when determining the fate of 'Bless the Harts' given it was renewed last year with poor retention and low numbers. Because of this, 'Harts' remains in the 'Likely Renewal' category despite an unsatisfactory performance.
