This was a tenth higher than what game five posted in prelims and tied with the first game. Game 6 will likely adjust up to a 3.0 rating or higher after finals. The game's lead-in was 'NBA Countdown' (1.4) while 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (1.4) had the privilege of being the lead-out. On NBC, the 'Vikings v. Seahawks' NFL game (3.2) shed three-tenths from what football garnered last week in prelims. Preceding football was 'Football Night in America' (1.5/3.1). CBS had a sturdy NFL Overrun (4.7) that helped boost '60 Minutes' (1.2) by a few tenths. But the momentum couldn't seem to spill into a repeat of 'Minutes' (0.5) and a showing of the 1995 film 'Clueless' (0.4).
Even without football assistance, week three of Fox's cartoon lineup saw a noticeable bump when compared to last week's miserable showings. Although 'The Simpsons' (0.5) was steady at the start of the night, 'Bless the Harts' (0.4), 'Bob's Burgers' (0.5), and 'Family Guy' (0.6) all gained a tenth. Animated repeats (0.4/0.3) populated the 7pm hour. And the CW had a stable 'Pandora' (0.1) leading into a 'Devils' repeat (0.1).

On NBC, 'Football Night in America' (0.6, -0.9; 2.0, -1.1) adjusted down while the 'Vikings v. Seahawks' NFL game (4.2, +1.0) adjusted up.
