Ratings Analysis: Thanks to the return of 'NFL Overrun' (4.94) on CBS, '60 Minutes' (1.40, +0.82) climbed above the 1.0 threshold once more, gaining eight-tenths on a week-to-week basis. More than a third of that audience evaporated by the time 'The National Christmas Tree Lighting' (0.54) rolled around and virtually no one stayed to watch the 23rd annual 'A Home For the Holidays' (0.33) or the repeat of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.21). On ABC, a 'West Side Story' special (0.22) flopped in the 7pm timeslot and took 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (0.38, -0.13), 'Supermarket Sweep' (0.29, -0.08), and 'The Rookie' (0.30, -0.03) down with it. 'Wheel' and 'Sweep' were both at new series lows while 'The Rookie' matched its previous low. NBC's 'Broncos v. Chiefs' NFL game (4.65) came in a tenth above the 'Browns v. Raves' game (4.54) from the week prior, and 'Football Night in America' (2.10) was more than a full point higher than last week. Fox had reruns of 'The Simpsons' (0.70/0.39), 'Bob's Burgers' (0.41/0.32), 'The Great North' (0.31), and 'Family Guy' (0.36). On the CW, 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' (0.06, +0.02) picked up two-hundredths. A pair of 'Masters of Illusion' encores (0.06/0.06) that came after maintained that same rating.
