Thursday TV Ratings 12/9/21: Law & Order: SVU Drops as Organized Crime Rises, Grey’s Anatomy Sets Series Low, Young Sheldon Leads Entertainment Programming

Ratings Analysis: A three-week break did no favors for ABC's crumbling Thursday lineup as both 'Station 19' (0.55, -0.13) and 'Grey's Anatomy' (0.54, -0.07) crashed to new series low. At 10, 'Big Sky' (0.30) clung to its previous low for dear life. On CBS, 'Young Sheldon' (0.66, +0.02) and 'B Positive' (0.42, +0.01) enjoyed some small upticks while sophomore sitcom 'United States of Al' (0.45, -0.01) and 'Ghosts' (0.54, -0.01) inched down. At 10, 'Bull' (0.27, -0.07) slipped to its lowest rating to date. NBC's 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.62, +0.10) gained a full tenth and climbed to its highest rating since late September. Earlier in the evening, 'The Blacklist' (0.31, -0.01) and 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.57, -0.03) lost some ground, with 'SVU' finding itself in season low territory. Over on Fox, the 'Steelers v. Vikings' NFL game (3.78) was nearly a full ratings point behind the 'Cowboys v. Saints' telecast from seven days prior (4.77). In CW news, 'Walker' (0.15, +0.03) rose by three-hundredths, but 'Legacies' (0.08) made no movement in either direction.

Finals Update: 'NFL: Steelers v. Vikings' (+1.4), 'Young Sheldon' (+0.1), 'Station 19' (+0.1), 'Law & Order: SVU' (+0.1), and 'United States of Al' (+0.1) adjusted up.
