Ratings Analysis: NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' (0.96, +0.04) rose by four-hundredths for its first episode of December, with singer Billie Eilish taking over as both host and musical guest. Cast member Kate McKinnon also returned to the series after an extended hiatus, potentially helping push the show near the 1.0 mark in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Reruns of 'The Wall' (0.19), 'Dateline' (0.28), and 'SNL Vintage' (0.35) filled out the 8-11pm stretch on the peacock network. In primetime, the 'Warriors v. 76ers' NBA game (0.75) was able to outperform all other broadcasts. ABC began their evening with a middling 'NBA Countdown' (0.31). CBS got solid ratings out of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' (0.53), 'Frosty the Snowman' (0.53), and 'Frosty Returns' (0.39). Despite that, '48 Hours' (0.34, -0.08) lost eight-hundredths in the 10pm slot. Fox was mostly off the map with low-rated encores of '9-1-1' (0.15) and '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.18) but still edged out The CW's TV movie 'The Waltons' Homecoming' (0.06).
