EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE - DAY

An urban area is situated in Staten Island in the middle of New York City.

EXT. MUSEUM - DAY

A museum sits in the outskirts of Manhattan.

INSERT - SIGN
reading “MUSEUM OF EARLY AMERICAN ANTIQUITIES”

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

A car pulls into the parking lot in a hurried fashion.

Sarah and Amanda get out of the car.

EXT. MUSEUM ENTRANCE - DAY

They walk towards the entrance of the museum.

AMANDA (V.O.)
We’ve arrived at the museum to investigate some clues. Last night, I had a dream.

DREAM SEQUENCE

EXT. MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ANTIQUITIES - DAY

The museum, foreboding, stands forlorn, isolated.

No traffic moves in front of it.

Silence falls over the building.

Fall leaves blow across the deserted steps.

INT. MUSEUM LOBBY - NIGHT

It is empty.

EGYPTIAN ROOM

The mummies stand at dusty attention.

PRE-CAMBIRIAN ROOM

A Brontosaurus' elongated neck points the way towards the
Hall of Sacrifice.

In the center of the room, a broken glass display cabinet has been bent by some-'thing' with terrific and malevolent force.

On the floor, his neck twisted at an impossible angle.

His amble viscera spills out, lies Bernard Cornwallis, former Head of Antiquities.

His lifeless body looks like lunch for one of the behemoths
that rear, silent and frozen, behind him.

Over the sound of BUZZING flies, haunting laughter echoes
through the halls once again.

END DREAM SEQUENCE.

INT. MUSEUM LOBBY - DAY

Amanda and Sarah continue walking in the museum lobby.

AMANDA (V.O.)
The laughter. It does not make sense. Bernard’s body was found on Central Park. It was likely dragged out of the museum.

Sarah then turns to Amanda.

SARAH
Amanda? You okay? What are you thinking about?

Amanda turns to Sarah.

AMANDA
This makes no sense. If Bernard’s death happened here, then why did we find his lifeless body at Central Park?

SARAH
I don’t know. But we will find some clues.

Sarah spots what appears to be a disposable phone.

She picks it up and hands it to Amanda.

Amanda fiddles around with the phone to crack the code.

Amanda sighs. Sarah then turns towards her.

AMANDA
S***!

SARAH
What now?

AMANDA
How could anyone work this?

Sarah then snatches the phone from Amanda.

SARAH
Let me take a look.

Sarah’s eyebrows rise up in surprise.

She then hands the phone back to Amanda.

Suddenly, a RANDOM CURATOR approaches Amanda and Sarah.

CURATOR
Ladies, is there anything you need?

AMANDA
Um…

SARAH
We’re just looking around for clues. To see if anything else is suspicious.

CURATOR
Oh no…

SARAH
To see if the deaths of Alex and Bernard are related.

CURATOR
(confusingly)
How do you know about Alex and Bernard?

Amanda looks at the curator in slight disgust.

SARAH
They were found dead right near Central Park, one after the other.

Amanda then turns away from the conversation and notices a mysterious trail.

AMANDA
I found something, Mom!

Sarah turns to Amanda.

SARAH
Let me take a look.

Sarah turns away from the curator and walks closer to Amanda.

She fixes her eyes on the trail.

She puts her finger to it. She smells it.

She then makes a face of disgust.

SARAH (CONT'D)
Smells like blood.

AMANDA
We gotta get out of here.

Sarah and Amanda then compose themselves as the curator leaves the scene.

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

Sarah and Amanda then leave the museum. They walk towards the car.

They get in.

INT. CAR - DAY

Amanda and Sarah then leave the parking lot. Sarah, on the driver’s side, is focused on the road.

Amanda, on the passenger’s side, sighs.

AMANDA
Shall we take a vacation?

SARAH
Be my guest.

EXT. FIFTH AVENUE - DAY

The car then drives away.
