FADE IN:

EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE - NIGHT

An urban area is situated in Staten Island in the middle of New York City.

The lights are on, the billboards are buzzing, and the music livens up the night.

EXT. CENTRAL PARK - NIGHT

Meanwhile, an eerie scene establishes itself with CRIME SCENE - KEEP OUT tape wrapped around the entire park.

A body lies motionless, covered in a pool of blood.

A DANCE-LIKE HEAVY METAL SONG plays in the background.

A car parallel parks near the entrance.

Amanda and Sarah exit the car. They enter Central Park.

Amanda trembles.

Sarah turns to Amanda, sets her hands on her shoulders to steady her, and puts her head down.

SARAH
What do you see, Amanda?

AMANDA
This looks exactly like I pictured it.

The body faces upwards towards the sky.

The face reeks of horror, as if it has seen a ghost.

It’s a man, wearing a pronounced beard.

Police are circling around the body, some take pictures while others take notes.

AMANDA (CONT'D)
Just like in my dream.

Sarah pulls away, somewhat.

Her left arm remains positioned on Amanda’s shoulders.

They walk towards the crime scene in a snail’s pace.

A police officer holds his hands out, in an attempt to stop them.

POLICE OFFICER #1
Ladies, this is a crime scene. You cannot go there.

Sarah lets go of Amanda.

SARAH
Officer, may we be of assistance?

The officer scratches his head.

Amanda grabs what appears to be a business card off the ground.

AMANDA
Oh my God! Look at the business card. You got another victim!

She shows the card to police.

POLICE OFFICER #1
Strange coincidence.

INSERT - BUSINESS CARD

reading, “BERNARD CORNWALLIS, MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ANTIQUITIES”

Amanda’s face reeks of stunned horror.

POLICE OFFICER #1 (CONT’D)
I think you’re right. We have a serial killer on the loose.

AMANDA
Just as I am afraid of.

POLICE OFFICER #1
You need to protect yourselves. Lock your doors at all cost.

SARAH
Will do.

Sarah and Amanda leave the scene.

INT. CAR - NIGHT

SUPER: MINUTES LATER

In total shock, Amanda looks down at the passenger side as Sarah drives.

AMANDA
It’s not even safe to be out there. But why are these dreams so real? So lifelike. So exactly like I have pictured.

SARAH
Amanda, if it is who I think it is, then we need to catch the killer before he or she even harms us. It’s not a coincidence that your dreams are going to solve that puzzle.

Amanda turns to look at Sarah.

AMANDA
If we can get home, then we can get to work. But first, we need to look for clues.

Sarah turns briefly to Amanda. She nods and looks back at the road.

Next week on Whoa Folks, I Had Another Dream, a witness comes forward.
