INT. APARTMENT LIVING ROOM - DAY
SUPER: JANUARY
The new year arrives. Jack and Noah receive their Christmas bonuses.
In the living room, Jack types on his laptop while sitting on the couch.
The door opens to reveal Noah.
Jack turns around.
JACK
Come again?
NOAH
Ready to finalize our pitch?
Jack gets the computer ready.
They get to work.
Time passes.
JACK
Pilot edits are done.
NOAH
It looks better already, but it’s the pitch I’m concerned about.
JACK
Show me.
Noah sits down on the couch and takes Jack’s computer. He maneuvers it.
Jack’s eyes widen.
The two of them work on the pitch.
JACK
Maybe we need to not spoil the whole thing.
NOAH
Don’t you think I know that?
The work goes on for a while. Time passes.
INT. JACK'S ROOM - NIGHT
Jack lays on his bed as he stares at the ceiling.
JACK
Now what?
He gets up and proceeds to make a phone call.
INT. KITCHEN - DAY
SUPER: THE NEXT MORNING
Jack makes breakfast.
Noah rubs his eyes.
NOAH
(groggily)
This better be good.
JACK
Now, now. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day you know?
Jack turns off the oven. He serves the eggs and bacon on the kitchen table.
Noah and Jack sit across from each other.
INT. APARTMENT LIVING ROOM - DAY
SUPER: HOURS LATER
Jack and Noah sit on the couch.
Jack holds his laptop.
NOAH
This is perfect, Jack.
JACK
Finally! Our finishing touches and pitch are complete!
Jack breathes a sigh of relief.
FADE OUT
