The Code Canceled by CBS

CBS has canceled midseason drama The Code after just one season. The show drew very little interest in its first airing behind NCIS, and things just got uglier. It averaged a 0.5, well below the already-mediocre 0.85 that Magnum PI pulled in the slot. The military/legal drama is one of the lowest-rated shows on all of CBS, and already appeared to be a renewal underdog before it premiered due to its incredibly late start. Dana Delany, Luke Mitchell, Anna Wood and Phillipa Soo starred in the series for its short 12-episode first season. The series finale aired last night.
