NBC's lowest-rated comedy is getting a new look in its just-ordered third season. Great News, which aired in the cushy post-Will & Grace slot this season, drew little interest from viewers and was one of the big four's lowest-rated comedies this season. The network hopes to try once again to boost the show's anemic ratings. This time, they're rebranding the series and shipping its main characters to Chicago, to make the comedy the newest member of the popular Chicago franchise, which includes Chicago Fire and Chicago Med. All of the show's original stars are set to return for the new Chicago-based season, which will kick off with a four-way Chicago crossover, set to premiere in September 2018.
