Questions of the Week: Universal Basic Guys, Tulsa King, Wheel of Fortune

1. Universal Basic Guys premiered on Sunday, September 8 to a 1.18 rating out of The OT’s 3.19, ahead of the year-ago Krapopolis series premiere rating with a similarly-rated OT lead-in. It will air again on Sunday, September 15 in the same 8 pm time slot, this time airing behind a rerun of The Simpsons. Recently, FOX’s cartoons have struggled to break a 0.20 in the A18-49 demo on a night without the football halo — some approaching 0.10 or below. How do you think it will fare in the Adults 18-49 demo Live + Same Day?

2. Paramount+ premieres the second season of Tulsa King on Sunday, September 15. This comes one week after the first season finished airing on CBS. Already one of Paramount+’s most successful series, the move is a clear attempt to help boost the series’ viewership further. Do you think the second season of Tulsa King will make its way onto the Nielsen TV Streaming Top 10 - Original chart?

3. Ryan Seacrest’s hosting debut on Wheel of Fortune hit a 4.62 Household rating, up 57% from last season’s premiere of a 2.94 Household rating. Reviews have been divisive so far, and many may have tuned in for the curiosity factor. What do you think Wheel of Fortune’s seasonal average will be?
