Monday TV Ratings 9/23/24: Brilliant Minds and Rescue: HI-Surf Off to Tepid Starts, 9-1-1: Lone Star Returns Heavily Down [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: New drama Brilliant Minds (0.29) had a passable start on NBC, retaining a little more than 60% of The Voice (0.48) for its series debut. On Fox, 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.27) crashed to a new series low out the gate and was a full three-tenths below its last season premiere (0.57). The news got even worse from there as Rescue: HI-Surf (0.20, -0.91) lost 82% of its premiere rating from a day ago. ABC's Commanders/Bengals NFL game (3.37) easily topped the night. CBS aired an original Price Is Right At Night (0.32) and a repeat of NCIS (0.16). All American: Homecoming (0.04, +0.01) ticked up on the CW and led into the series premiere of The Wranglers (0.02).
