Wednesday TV Ratings 1/17/24: Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD Return Up from Finales, We Are Family Rises from Last Wednesday (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: It was a very successful premiere night on NBC as Chicago Med (0.61), Chicago Fire (0.63), and Chicago P.D. (0.57) all returned well above their May 2023 finales (0.44/0.49/0.45) and were the top three programs of the night. ABC was close behind with their Mavericks v. Lakers NBA game (0.52) but settled for a respectable second-place finish in the Adults 18-49 demographic. I Can See Your Voice (0.21, -0.01) ticked down on Fox, but We Are Family (0.29, -0.88) was actually eight-hundredths higher than last week (0.21). It was, however, well below Sunday's NFL-boosted episode for obvious reasons. The Price Is Right At Night (0.44, 0.00) held steady on CBS, while Raid the Cage (0.35, +0.02) grew to a new series high. The series premiere of Wild Cards (0.04) disappointed on the CW but was at least a step ahead of the return of Family Law (0.03).
