Saturday TV Ratings 1/6/24: NFL Down from Last Saturday but Still Dominates, 48 Hours Slightly Down, SNL Vintage Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: The Texans v. Colts NFL game (2.25) was a few tenths lower than last week's Lions v. Cowboys game (2.61) but still led ABC to a clear victory in primetime. Fox's Ohio St. v. Indiana college basketball game (0.12) was meager enough that NBC pulled ahead of them with a rerun of America's Got Talent: Fantasy League (0.16) and SNL Vintage (0.18). 48 Hours (0.20, -0.02) slipped on CBS but was still the highest-rated non-NFL offering. I Am: Chris Farley (0.09) improved on last week's I Am: Burt Reynolds (0.05) on the CW.

Finals Update: NFL Kickoff (+0.3), NFL: Texans v. Colts (+0.5), and the repeat of America's Got Talent: Fantasy League (+0.1) adjusted up.
