CBS tried to compete with New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash! (1.77/1.42) but trailed ABC, even with NFL Overrun help. NBC stayed out of the New Year's special business, but their Packers v. Vikings NFL game (4.49) still excelled. Fox aired reruns of Hell's Kitchen (0.31), The Simpsons (0.22), Krapopolis (0.16), Bob's Burgers (0.15), and Family Guy (0.16). The CW re-ran Christmas with the Chosen: Holy Night (0.05).
