Ratings Analysis: The Chiefs v. Bills NFL game put up a mammoth 13.22 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic and cleared the 50-million mark in total viewership on CBS, leading the network to an effortless Sunday-night victory. Unfortunately, that enormous lead-in was wasted on a 10 o'clock encore of Fire Country (1.79) when it could have been used on an original broadcast. On ABC, Pixar film Soul (0.17) was a hundredth lower than the week-ago Lion King (0.18) but also had a smaller lead-in than that one did (the 8 p.m. AFV rerun managed a 0.24 this week instead of a 0.30 like last week). NBC aired repeats of Deal or No Deal Island (0.53), Extended Family (0.35), Dateline NBC (0.27), and Law & Order: SVU (0.20). Fox re-ran The Simpsons (0.13), Krapopolis (0.10), Bob's Burgers (0.09), and Grimsburg (0.11). Bob's looked shockingly weak in this lineup but was slightly stronger in its 7:30 showing (0.10). The CW taught us How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (0.05) and washed that down with another Conners repeat (0.03).
Finals Update: NFL: Chiefs v. Bills (+3.3) and the repeat of Fire Country (+0.4) adjusted up. The repeat of Deal or No Deal Island (-0.1) adjusted down.
