Ratings Analysis: The wedding of Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist proved to be a big hit with ABC viewers. The Golden Wedding managed a 0.63 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic and 5.2 million in total viewership, making it the night's top broadcast in both metrics. This also serves as a higher rating than just about every installment of The Golden Bachelor outside of the premiere and the last two episodes. After the wedding, the special General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling (0.23) disappointed in the 10 p.m. time slot and retained less than 40% of its lead-in. Hell's Kitchen (0.37, -0.02) dipped a bit on Fox and led into an encore of We Are Family (0.20). CBS aired the final batch of Ghosts UK episodes (0.24/0.20), and the series was once again a weaker option than reruns of Young Sheldon (0.26). Transplant (0.28, +0.09) was up in a pretty significant way on NBC but still fell behind repeats of Law & Order (0.35) and Dateline (0.29). The CW began airing acquired reruns of ABC sitcom The Conners (0.03/0.04), but they did no better than Son of a Critch (0.04) or the Children Ruin Everything finale (0.03, +0.01).
Finals Update: Hell's Kitchen (+0.1) and the repeat of Young Sheldon (+0.1) adjusted up.
