ABC to Rebrand as ’Roseanne Broadcasting Company’

The Roseanne reboot delivered huge ratings this season for ABC, and that has prompted the network to make a major change. Beginning in September 2018, the network will be known as the Roseanne Broadcast Company, hoping to capitalize on the ratings for TV's #1 sitcom. The network has also announced that Roseanne Barr and Laurie Metcalf will be guest starring on the premieres of all of their fall series for the 2018-19 season, in order to promote the change. When asked about the change, Barr stated she is "humbled" to have a network named after her, and has since demanded a raise to $10 million dollars per episode, which the network has agreed to.
